Peacefully at the Pines Long Term Care Facility in Bracebridge on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 with his family at his side. Wes Long beloved husband of the late Audrey Jean Long (nee Melbourne) who predeceased Wes On June 16, 2011. Beloved father of Pam (Bob) Gillmore and Tom Long both of Gravenhurst, Rick Long, Chris (Terri-Lyn) Long both of Bracebridge, Brenda (Steven) Massey of Manchester, England, Sandy Long of Utterson and Penny (Glen) Ross of Washago. Wes is predeceased by his brothers Orland, Clifford, Ken and Les Long and by his sisters Vera, Gwen and Jean. Cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 7. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 11:00 a. m. until 12 noon. A Service to celebrate the life of Wesley Long will take place in the chapel on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 12 noon. Interment of cremated remains will take place at the Barkway Cemetery in the Spring. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka.
