Wesley Hoffman

Veteran of the Korean war. Life Member and Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #302, Gravenhurst. Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Friday, January 22, 2016 in his 84th year. Beloved father to Debbie Hoffman (Andrew Barss) of Nova Scotia, Gerry Hoffman (Sandra) of Toronto, Laura Hoffman-Steiger (Brian) of Bracebridge and Kim Atkinson (Robin Burke) of Brampton. Beloved grandfather to Johnathan Hart, Corban Hart, Kristopher Hoffman, Bryson Hoffman, Courtney Steiger and Nathan Atkinson. Wes will be missed by the Hewitt family and by the any nieces and nephews and the children that Wes opened his home to. He will be remembered by Patsie Hoffman of Bracebridge. Wes was a long time employee with Brown's Beverages, Gravenhurst for over 40 years. He was instrumental in organizing and running the Gravenhurst Men's Recreation Hockey League for over 30 years. The family would like to thank the staff at the Gravenhurst Manor, South Muskoka Hospital and to Dr. Gair for the care and attention given to him over the years. Memorial Visitation The family will receive friends at the Gravenhurst Royal Canadian Legion Hall Branch #302 on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 1-4 p. m. with a Legion Service of Remembrance to begin at 1:15 p. m.
