VIOLET VICTORIA SMITH Passed away peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 12th, 2014at the age of 101 years. Survived by her daughter Ellen MacQuarrie (Martin). Predeceased by her dear son Jack Downes. Dearly loved grandmother of John Downes (Patti) of San Antonio, Allison Denne (Robert) of Kilworthy and Patty Downes of Kilworthy. Loved by 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Will be missed by several nieces and nephews in her large extended family. Predeceased by infant granddaughter Lee Ellen Downes. Pre-deceased by her siblings Harry Crump (Louise), Albert Crump (Kay) George Crump (Mary) and Doris Adams (Lorne) and Edith Crump. Friends will be received at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Friday, October 17th, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, 83 William St in Parry Sound.
