DAVIE, Verna Mae (nee Husselstrom) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge in her 87th year. Beloved wife of John Davie. Loving mother of Janice (Dave), Rodger (Loraine), Phil (Barbara) and Ruth (Ed). Cherished grandmother of Paul, Tania, Elana, Devon, Joshua and Jessica. Great grandmother of Hanna, Kaleb, Walden, Eschar, Delainey, Lauren, Shannon, Madeleine, Katie, Nicole and Grace. Dear sister of Ragna Day and Olive (Ron) Cooper. Pre deceased by her siblings Thelma Husselstrom, Julia Myers and Carl Husselstrom. Verna will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The service will be held at Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital 2nd.
