Timothy Ralph Schell

It was a calm quiet morning when Tim peacefully slipped away in the early hours of November 30, 2023, in his 92^nd year. There will be no more fishing stories, no more carpentry projects nor any more friendly waves to the cottagers on Sunset Bay!

Born October 23, 1932, in Gravenhurst, Tim spent his entire life there, with over 80 of those years on Sunset Bay.

Tim was the son of the late Albert and Edna Schell. He is predeceased by his wife Olive (May 2023). He is survived by his daughter Joanne Rutledge of Orillia, Ontario, sons Blaine (Sherry) of Waterford, Ontario, and Ed (Shirley) of Hollywood, Florida.

Loving grandfather and great grandfather to Lisa, Caitlyn, Kyle, Jessica, Samantha, Doug, Jesse, and their children.

Also survived by his sister Fay Cowan (Allen deceased), brothers-in-law Robert Wright (Erla), John Wright (Marilyn), and Howard Wright (Mary), as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister-in-law Lorna Naismith.

At Tim’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration will take place at a later date.
