Stephanie Dawn Sopher

It is with great sadness that family of Stephanie Dawn Sopher (nee Nudd) announce her sudden passing on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the age 45.

Stephanie will be lovingly remembered by her parents Susan Nudd (Rick Appleton) and William Nudd (Laura Bowles). Brother Billy Nudd (Sheryl Anne). Children Liam Sopher (Amae Purino) and Justice Sopher. Former husband Darren Sopher. Niece Sierra and nephews Corbin, William, and Xavier. Stephanie was predeceased by her grandparents Gordon and Patricia Nudd, and Mary Hatch.

Stephanie was a fun spirted soul whose smile lit up a room. Stephanie will be most remembered as a devoted caring mother, daughter and sister. Her happiest times where spent surrounded by her loving family and friends who will miss her deeply.

Stephanie loved her family and would make a point to tell them that she loved and appreciated them as often as possible, sometimes with a hug but most frequently with a text or a Facebook post.

Stephanie, your song has ended but your melody lingers on

A funeral service will be held at Cavill Funeral Home in Gravenhurst, Ontario on Saturday, July 27, 2024, with visitation taking place from 12:00pm-1:00pm, and funeral service beginning at 1:00pm. 

Stephanie’s departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that you make contributions to our memorial fund in lieu of flowers and contribute to Sick Kids’ hospital in Toronto and may be arranged online, or through Cavill Funeral Home.
