BARNES, Stanley Alfred Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4th, 2015 at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Bernice Annie Barnes (nee Stead) who predeceased Stanley on June 26th, 1968. Loving father of Carl (Doreen) Barnes of Gravenhurst, Ed Barnes of Gravenhurst and Caroline Barnes (Gualter Rebelo) of Drumbo. Cherished grandfather of 7, great-grandfather of 14 and great-great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother of Hazel Peacock and Don Barnes. Pre-deceased by his brothers Almer, Ken, Jack and sisters Pearl Turner, Gladys Pallister and infant sisters Eveline and Hannah. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, Gravenhurst from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at New Life Pentecostal Church, 200 Industrial Drive, Gravenhurst. Mr. Barnes will be laid to rest in the spring at Mickle Memorial Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
