CRAWFORD, Shirley Anne (nee Nye) Peacefully at the Muskoka Shores Care Community in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, March 29, 2016. Shirley Anne Crawford in her 68th year. Much loved mother to Natalie (Edward) Gillespie and Wayne (Pauline) Crawford both of Gravenhurst. Special and much loved grandmother to Grayson Gillespie. Beloved sister to Sandra (late Russell) Lane of Milton, Susan Heidman (late Morley) of Kilworthy and Janys Culkeen (late John) of Sturgeon Falls. Shirley will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the Lions Pavilion at the Gravenhurst Wharf on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 12 noon until 3:00 p. m. Because of Shirley's love and affection towards animals, the family has requested that donations in Shirley's memory be made to the Muskoka OSPCA, 1234 Muskoka Road, Hwy. #118 West, Box 2804, Bracebridge, Ontario P1L 1W5 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
