It is with the deepest sadness and heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Shirley Joan Yvonne Brunton, on Tuesday, July 19th 2022 at Sunnybrook Medical Centre with her sons at her bedside.  Shirley was married to Kenneth Charles Brunton (deceased) on August 24th,1957 giving them 65 years together. Shirley was a loving mother to Brian (Barbara) of Huntsville and Blaine (Kim) of Gravenhurst. Shirley lovingly adored all her grandchildren and her precious little angels her great-grandchildren. Shirley is survived by her brother Elgon and her sister Effie. Shirley was an active member of the community and her church, as well as a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She touched a lot of lives and gave great joy to those who knew her and loved her. Interment will take place at Mickle Memorial Cemetery in Gravenhurst on Saturday August 20th at 11:30 AM, reception lunch will be held at Shirley’s home following the service.
