Schell, Robert Lawrence (known as Bob to all) October 18, 1927 - June 21, 2014 Passed at the age of 86 at the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare Centre-Bracebridge Site with nephews Jerry and Randy by his side. Bob resided at Wahta Mohawks, Bala. Beloved son of the late Arthur and Ida Schell. Predeceased by his brothers Elmer, Donald and James (known as Butch). Survived by brothers Mel (Anne) of Prince George, B.C. and Ivan (Patricia) of Richmond Hill. Remembered also by Irma Workman of Wasaga Beach and her family. Much loved and cherished uncle to 22 nieces and nephews and their extended families. Remembered also by sisters-in-law Phyllis, Joan and Sue. Bob was employed by K. J. Beamish Construction company for many years, prior to his retirement. In earlier years Bob enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and his trips to British Columbia. Despite health issues over the past few years Bob remained always cheerful and optimistic and never complained. Bob enjoyed his independence and his home at Wahta in Bala. He will be missed and remembered by so many. Thanks to Jerry and Randy for being there for Bob, especially joining him for so many breakfasts at their favourite restaurants. Stories were told and Bob enjoyed those times and the many laughs they shared. Bob's family wishes to thank the staff at the Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare Centre - Bracebridge Site for their wonderful care. At Bob's request cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service at Mickle Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. For those who wish, donations can be made in memory of Bob to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
