The Rev. Canon Margaret Johnston passed away unexpectedly, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at age 88. Beloved wife of the late Melville Langdon Johnston. Loving mother of James Montgomery Johnston, Melville Russell Johnston (Sarah), Stephen Orval Johnston (Suzanne). Proud grandmother of Nathan (Taryn), Simon, Nicholas, Sean, Alexandra (Dillon), Erin (Josh) and Ryan (Krista). Margaret is great grandmother to Kimber, Dani, Lexi & Sylis. Predeceased by her 3 brothers. Survived by her sister-in-law June and her best friend Annette Procunier.
Friends will be welcomed for visitation at Trinity All Saints Anglican Church in Bala, on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The funeral will be held from the Trinity All Saints on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Torrance Cemetery. Reception will take place at the Bala Royal Canadian Legion Branch #424. As your expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Trinity All Saints Anglican Church would be appreciated.
