Patricia Ann Wilcox

Patricia Ann Wilcox (nee McLeod) passed away at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 27, 2024, at the age of 68. Predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Charles David Wilcox.

Patricia will be dearly missed by her daughters Christine Wilcox (R. Robinson), and Andrea Davis (Joe Davis). Beloved Nana to Nathan Wilcox, Joshua Wilcox, and Joe Davis. Dear sister to Ken McLeod (Alison McLeod), and Bill McLeod (Susan McLeod). Cherished “Auntie Trish” to Jim McLeod (Julie), Corrie Edwards (McLeod) (Scott), and Leslie McLeod (Kelly), as well as Rick Wilcox (Shari), Debbie Wilcox-Bennett (Steve), Lisa Wilcox-Roskos (d. Dave), and JJ Wilcox (Dawn). Sister-in-Law to Bob Wilcox (Mary). Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Irene McLeod.

Over the years, Patricia made a large impact on those around her. Throughout her working life, she held many different important roles. She was a teaching educational assistant, a secretary for the New Life Pentecostal church, and a manager to the Salvation Army thrift store. Through these roles, she always made a positive impact on her community.

Family was always a priority for Patricia. She cherished her three grandchildren that filled her heart with love and pride. With a passion for crafting, she created decorative cards and enjoyed scrapbooking. Her dazzling door designs were enjoyed by all at the James Street Residence. Her fun-loving personality seized every opportunity to dress up silly or sparkly for any occasion or holiday. Her presence here will truly be missed by all.

A visitation will be held at Cavill Funeral Home on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by burial at Mickle Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow the interment at the Scout Hall in Gravenhurst from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. If desired, memorial donations made to South Muskoka Memorial Hospital ICU would be greatly appreciated by the family, and may be arranged online, or through Cavill Funeral Home.
