Patricia Miller

Patricia Violet Miller (nee Harris) passed away peacefully at her home in the Gravenhurst Manor on December 9th at the age of 88. Pat was born in Haileybury, Ontario and spent most of her young life in North Bay. She worked at the Rubberset Brush factory in the early 1940's, met and married her husband Mike Miller (deceased 1990) in 1950 and helped him build Gravenhurst Lumber, where she worked as a bookkeeper. Pat lived in Gravenhurst for the remainder of her life. Pat loved to sew, quilt and watch her precious Blue Jays baseball team; win or lose, she was a faithful fan. Most of all she loved her three grandchildren; Emily, Michael and Spencer and spent many hours playing card games with them. Pat will be ever so missed by her two children, Lori Anderson (Jim) and Jim Miller (Christine) and her best friend for over 70 years Muriel Miller. A celebration of Pat's life will be held at the Gravenhurst Manor on Saturday, December 21st at 2:00 p.m., everyone welcome.
