Patricia Gail DeCaire

Patricia Gail DeCaire, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on November 10, 2024, at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia, Ontario. 

Patricia was known for her vibrant personality; she was never afraid to speak her mind and always communicated her thoughts directly. Her family and friends appreciated her honesty and forthrightness, which distinguished her presence in their lives.

Throughout her life, Patricia found joy in an array of hobbies, including gardening, crafting, sewing, and baking. She took great pride in these pursuits, often sharing the fruits of her labor with those she loved. Patricia's adventurous spirit led her to travel across Canada, from Nova Scotia to British Columbia, creating memories and cherishing experiences along the way.

Patricia's heart belonged to her family, particularly her grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. She is survived by her children: Crystal (Robert), Jimmy (Shannon), Lisa, and Sara (Jeremy). Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Michael (Emma), Breanna, James, Felicity, Faith (Aaron), Makayla (Kyle), Jackson, Michael, Katie, Zoey, Jace, and Drayton, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren: Georgia, Beau, and Cecily.

In addition to her immediate family, Patricia is survived by her brother, Barry DeCaire, and her sisters-in-law, Jackie, Sharon, and Cathy. She is predeceased by her parents, Lloyd and Doris DeCaire, and her brothers, Doug (Anne), Bill, Bob, and Jack.

The impact Patricia had on those around her will be remembered fondly, as her spirit and love continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed.
