Patricia Anne Carrie Balint

May 21, 1957 - October 6, 2022

Passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital on October 6, 2022, after a hard fought battle with urothelial carcinoma. She was in her 65th year. She leaves behind her caring husband John Balint, and daughters Nyssa (Cory) and Kara (Kyle). She was the loving and doting grandmother of Claire, Emmelia, Oliver, and Lucas. She was the beloved daughter of John and Verity Carrie, and dear sister to Peter, Douglas, and Michelle (Brian). She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Pat was known to her family and friends as a loving and caring person, who was always ready to lend a helping hand.

She enjoyed spending summers in Muskoka with her family, and winters at her home in Florida. Pat loved hiking and traveling with family. Exploring different restaurants and microbreweries with her husband John was another favourite pastime.

Her kind spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

A Visitation will be held on October 22 from 12 noon -  at 1pm at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home where the service will be held at 1:00 pm.  Casual dress acceptable and encouraged. Reception to follow at Boston Pizza, Gravenhurst at 2:30pm. All welcome.
