Olive "Ollie" Cooper

Passed away at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the age of 93.

Olive was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Cooper. Dear mother of Stephen Cooper (Katrin), and Susan Nicholson (Brian). Cherished grandmother of Erin Nicholson (Kris O’Hara). Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Verna Davie (John), Ragna Day (Jack), Carl Husselstrom (Kay) and Julia Myers (Ron) and Thelma Husselstrom.  Sadly missed by her sister-in law, Betty Donnelly and her husband Ron and many nieces and nephews. Olive was the last of the Husselstrom clan who was raised in the Swedetown area of Gravenhurst.

A visitation will be held from 2-4 and then 6-8 pm on Friday, May 5, at Cavill Funeral Home where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow at Sawdust City Brewery, Gravenhurst, ON. A private service of internment will be held at Mickle Memorial Cemetery at a later date.  Memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
