Surrounded by his loved ones, Nick unexpectedly passed away at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 27, 2023. Nick is the beloved husband of Bonnie, loving father of Leah (Keith), Eva, Joshua, and stepson Dale, cherished grandfather of Aiden, Kaitlyn, and Colton, dear brother of Mary, Bill (Sonia), and Lida (late Johnny), brother-in-law of Barbara (late Don), Sharon, Nancy,  Lorraine (Rick), and Paula (Mike). He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Nick’s family would like to acknowledge Dr. MacMillan, General Surgeon, Nurses Sam and Irene, Nurses Brad and Kristen, as well as Doctors Ryan and Jindal of the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital ICU for providing exemplary and compassionate end-of-life care. Additional thanks to social worker Kayla for providing emotional support to his family. Further thanks to the doctors and nurses at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.

Special thanks to Barbara Carr for providing help and support to his family during this difficult time.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 2 from 12 – 1 PM, at Cavill Funeral Home in Gravenhurst for a visitation. Funeral service will be held in the chapel following the visitation. Reception to follow.
