Myra "Ruth" Graham (Brown)

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, in Oak Terrace, Orillia, ON at the age of 91.

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Johnston Graham and a devoted mother to her sons Robert and Steven (Gail). Cherished grandmother to Brittnie (Waylon), Hailey (Steven), Hilary (Sean), Johnston, Adam, Jacqueline, and Jen. Great-grandmother to Colton, Weston, Vandon, Liam, and Maddox.

Ruth led a remarkable life and will be remembered for her dedication to her career as an accountant/bookkeeper for Silvaplex veneer factory in Gravenhurst.  For many years, she worked tirelessly in this field and made a significant impact with her expertise. Myra's attention to detail and commitment to accuracy earned her the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ruth had a deep love for exploring the world. She embarked on numerous adventures and visited countries far and wide. From the vibrant landscapes of Australia to the ancient history of China; from the quaint streets of England and Scotland to the stunning vistas of California and British Columbia - Ruth's travels enriched her life immeasurably.

In addition to traveling, Ruth found joy in simple pleasures. She had a talent for knitting beautiful garments and cherished the tranquility it brought. Playing cards was another hobby that she greatly enjoyed, engaging in friendly competition with family and friends.

Ruth touched the lives of many throughout her journey. She was predeceased by her loving brothers Jack Brown and Harvey Brown but leaves behind a legacy of love within her surviving family.

Myra Ruth Graham will always be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and for enriching the lives of those around her. Her compassionate spirit, captivating stories, and warm smiles will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we bid farewell to Ruth, let us remember the beautiful memories we shared with her. In our hearts, she will forever remain a beacon of love, wisdom, and grace. May her soul find eternal peace as her legacy continues to inspire generations to come.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Cavill Funeral Home, Gravenhurst, ON. Interment in Mickle Memorial Cemetery with Reception to follow at Cavill Funeral Home.
