Mitch Mitchell

Mitch passed away suddenly in his home on Saturday September 15. Mitch was the proud father to Spencer David Mitchell, father-in-law to Janelle Burman and grandfather to Henry Mitchell. Mitch will forever be remembered by his sister Jane Margaret Mitchell and husband Selwyn Finlay, brother David and wife Marilyn, life partner Linda Birmingham and her son Keiran Birmingham, John and Shirley Smith, good friends Ken and Karen Bowins, Haney Hansen and so many others. Predeceased by his parents Betty (2006) and Bob (1998) and brother Richard (1975). Mitch was president of Mitchell Marketing for 32 years and will be remembered by those in the Pool and Spa industry for his honesty, humour and hard work. Mitch was proud to serve as a volunteer firefighter with Muskoka Lakes Station 4. A very special thank you to Mark McMullen for being there when we needed you. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Walker's Point Community Centre, 1074 Walker's Point Rd., Gravenhurst P0B 1J0, Saturday September 22, 2012 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Station 4 Fire Department, Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Cancer Society.
