Mildred Rowe

Peacefully Millie passed away at the age of 94 on Sat.March 13, 2016 at the Woodstock Hospital .A lifelong resident of Gravenhurst, she is survived by her husband Orvil, her daughter Cheryl (Steve) Ballantyne of Dorchester . She was a wonderful grandmother to Sherry Rowe of Bracebridge, Richard Rowe of Midland and great grand-mother to Victoria of Kitchener. She was predeceased by her son Ron. Millie was a very active and lifetime member of the Gravenhurst Curling Club, the Gravenhurst Seniors Club, and Trinity United Church Women's Group. According to Millie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Sat. April 2, 2016. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Gravenhurst Seniors Center. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the excellent staff at Oxford Manor in Ingersoll for caring for both Millie and Orvil for the past 2 years as well as the medical staff at Woodstock Hospital and the members of the PT/OT Rehabilitative Department If so desired, donations in memory of Millie may be directed to a charity of your choice.
