Michael Smith Peacefully at the Granite Ridge Retirement Residence in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in his 74th year. Mike Smith beloved husband to Joan Parsons of Gravenhurst. Beloved father to Andrea (Trent) Peek of Victoria, B. C., and Stacey Smith of Toronto. Mike will be remembered by Joan's children Glen Parsons (Sarah) of Barrie and Wayne Parsons (Christine) of Gravenhurst. Beloved grandfather to Liam, Kate, Logan and Jacob. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, Gravenhurst on Friday, July 4, 2014 from 7-9 p. m. A service to celebrate the life of Mike Smith will be held in the chapel on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:00 a. m. Cremation has taken place.
