Mervin Dunlop

Merv passed away peacefully at home in his 77th year, on his own terms, surrounded by his loving wife Inge of 43 years and lifelong friends. He fought his battle with cancer the same way he lived - with courage, strength and dignity. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Vesta. Father of Kevin (deceased) and Steve. Brother of Betty Hie , uncle of Bob and Pat. He will be fondly remembered by his Grandchildren Michael and Marissa. Merv was the owner of Ascona Place for many years along with his wife Inge, where he enjoyed meeting many good friends. Cremation has taken place as per Merv's wishes. A celebration of Merv's life will be held on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Frosty Pint Pub in Gravenhurst.. For more information you may contact idunlop@cogeco.ca.
