Mary Merton

MERTON, Mary Luella (nee Williams) Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in her 85th year. Mary Luella Merton beloved wife of the late Gordon Merton who predeceased Mary on June 20, 1990. Beloved mother to Gordon Merton (Joy) of Gravenhurst, Robert Merton (Denise) of Collingwood, Linda Pilger (Bryan) of Gravenhurst, Dennis Merton (Susan) of Brandon, Manitoba and Kathy Merton (Ron Barnes) of Barrie. Mary was predeceased by her beloved daughter Shirley Stothers on Sept. 13, 2014. Beloved sister to Harry Williams of Woodstock. Mary was predeceased by her brothers John, Bill and Norman and by her sister Violet. Beloved grandmother of 19 grandchildren and great grandmother to several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 3:00-5:00 p. m. & 7:00-9:00 p. m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00 a. m. Interment will take place in the Spring at Mickle Memorial Cemetery, Gravenhurst.
