Mary Middlebrook

Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side, on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Trillium Manor, in Orillia, at the age of 89. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Murray Joseph who predeceased her in 2002. She is loved and cherished by her daughter Diane Payette (John) of Orillia, and by her son Bob Middlebrooks (Rhonda) of Gravenhurst. Only daughter of the late Robert and Lily Meeks. Loving grandmother of Cynthia, Jason, Bobby, Bruce, Mandy, and Laurie. Great grandmother of Gavin, Sean, Nathan, Joshua, Jacob, Melody, Quinn, and Ellie. Mary enjoyed spending time around the campfire, gardening, travelling, and had a special love for her cats, as well as family gatherings. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.

We wish to thank Dr. Catford and all the frontline heroes of the Trillium Manor. In particular, the staff of the Ramara Unit, for their unwavering commitment to their residents and their compassionate care of our mom.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  A Graveside service will be held in the spring of 2021, at Mickle Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Trillium Manor Orillia, Canadian Cancer Society or the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated and may be arranged through Cavill Funeral Home.  Messages of condolence may be left at www.cavillfuneralhome.com

During COVID-19, visitations are conducted on a schedule and by appointment only. Groups of 10 will be permitted to visit with the family during the following reserved times:

Visitation: Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 2:00 – 2:30pm, 2:45 – 3:15pm, & 3:30 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 6:30pm, 6:45 – 7:15pm & 7:30 – 8:00pm.
