Margaret Hill

HILL, Margaret Florence, WWII, CWAC Born 1924, passed away at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare, Bracebridge on April 11, 2012 while staying with her family in Gravenhurst, Ontario. Margaret Florence Hill (nee Hughes) was predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Stafford Douglas Hill in 2004. Beloved mother to Susan Halliday (Paul Clairmont), dearly loved grandmother to Robyn Halliday and great grandmother "G.G." to Tyger, Jett and Aja. She will be fondly remembered by her dear sister Barbara Snow (wife of the late James) of Milton, Ontario, and by her brother Bob Hughes and his wife Herma of Victoria. She was predeceased by her parents Allan and Florence Hughes of Oakville, sisters Isobel and Ilene, and by her brothers Grant and Jim. Her nieces and nephews will miss the mints and sharing the photos with their "Auntie Marg". There will be a graveside service at St. Jude's Cemetery, 250 Lakeshore Road W., Oakville on Saturday April 21, 2012 at 1 p.m. Friends are invited to join her family at a "Celebration of her Life" at 159 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, between 2 and 4 p.m. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family is especially thankful to Dr. Lindner and the OAKMED Family Health Team for their great care over the past year.
