Malcolm Tingey

TINGEY, Malcolm William (Mac) Mac died peacefully at his home in Orillia with his loving family at his side on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in his 79th year. Beloved husband for 54 years to June Marlene Tingey (nee Brooks). Loving father to Keith (Sherry) Tingey of Gravenhurst and Carolyn Tingey of Gravenhurst. Much loved grandfather to Brooke Tomassetti (Dave Arnold), Kylee Tingey (Ben Terry) and Bailey Tingey (Ryan Anley) and Coady Tingey. Great grandfather to Sarah and Sophia Arnold. Mac is survived by his sister Karen (George) Loshaw and by his brother Jim Brown both of Bracebridge, by his sisters-in-law Flora, Barb, Carol and Dawn Tingey and brother-in-law Steve Brooks (Jan). Predeceased by his brothers Eldon, Lloyd, Warren, Sheldon and Vince and by his sister Venita. The family will receive friends at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of Malcolm Tingey will be held at Trinity United Church on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Kidney Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
