Lorna Bernice Jordan

 Peacefully passed away with loved ones by her side on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Castle Peak Retirement Residence in Bracebridge, ON. She was in her 98th year.

Beloved wife of the late Danny Jordan (2001). Loving mother of Wayne Jordan, Carol Tang, and Wendy Jordan. Cherished grandmother of Carlie Wilford (Todd), Krista Kersey (Brandon), and Jay Shearer (Nikki). Proud great-grandmother of Jordan, Tia, Natalie, Everett, and Rowynn.

Predeceased by her siblings, Gordon Stewart and Edith Gamaretti. Lorna will also be dearly missed by her best friend, Dorothy Burgin.

Lorna and Danny were the proud owners of Al’s Pizza in Bracebridge, where they shared their love of good food and community until their retirement. She had a passion for knitting, bingo, and music—always tapping her toes to a good tune.

As the longest-residing member of Castle Peak, Lorna called it home for nearly 13 years. There, she found deep friendships, joy in bingo nights, and live music that always made her smile.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Castle Peak Retirement Residence, who became like family to Lorna. Their kindness and care meant the world to her, and she will always be remembered as “Grandma” to them.

A celebration of Lorna’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the  Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated..

She will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
