NOTTINGHAM, Leslie (Les) George Veteran of RAF (Battle of Malta) Past President & Member of the Gravenhurst Power Squadron Club. Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Monday, September 19, 2016 in his98th year. Leslie George Nottingham beloved husband of the late Joan Nottingham (nee Gilbert) who predeceased Les on October 1, 2004. Les and Joan were married in 1973 and in 1983 Les became a full time resident of Gravenhurst. Beloved father to Lynda Charlesworth (Roger) of South Hampton, England. Grandfather to Paula and Anna and great grandfather to Samantha, Andrew, Hugo and Archie. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation being held one hour prior to service time. In memory of Les, donations to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
