Leslee Johns

Leslee Marleen Johns (née Luck) Marleen Johns, of Gull Lake, Gravenhurst passed away peacefully in the early hours of June 14,2015 in her eightieth year at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto. Survived by beloved husband of sixty years Bob, four children: Jeff (Amy Brewster) Jim, Rob (Chris Gongos) and Sue (Ray McCormick) and five grandchildren, Braden, Carsen, Alina, Jillian and Valerie. Marleen was born in Fort William, Ontario on October 2nd, 1935, and with her family lived in many parts of Canada including Newfoundland and Alberta before returning to Ontario and ultimately retiring to Gravenhurst. An avid gardener, Marleen was always proud of her beautiful plants and flowers and had a strong appreciation of nature, which was reflected in her artwork. Music was also important to Marleen. She played the piano, and in her formative years would play in her fathers band, She always loved singing, and was a member of the Elderberries performing at local events. A celebration of Marleen's life will be held at a future date. To honour her memory please consider a donation to Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto.
