Leonora Gerrie

It is with great sadness that Lori Yancoff and her sister Joyce Kivell announce the passing of their beloved mother Mrs. Leonora Patricia Gerrie at her home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Leonora Patricia Gerrie was in her 94th year. Leonora was surrounded by the love of her family. Left to mourn her passing are her daughters; Lori (Jordan) Yancoff and Joyce (Drew) Kivell both of Gravenhurst. She was the proud grandmother to Tara Whipp of Gravenhurst, Leanne (Mark) Pitman of Atlanta, Georgia and Andrew Yancoff and his finance (Caitlain Hansen) of Victoria B.C. Great grandmother to James, Victoria, Dylan and Jack. Predeceased by her husband Norman Gerrie. Leonora is survived by her sister Marie Jackson (late Norman) of Bracebridge. In keeping with Mrs. Gerrie's wishes, cremation has taken place. An interment service will take place at Mickle Memorial Cemetery in May of 2017. If so desired, donations in memory of Leonora Gerrie may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, Gravenhurst.
