Kenneth Garfield Thompson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Garfield Thompson on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Andy’s House Hospice Muskoka in Port Carling, Ontario. Ken, aged 85, was surrounded by love in his final moments.

Beloved husband of Donna Thompson, Ken was a devoted father to Chris Thompson and a cherished grandfather to Shane and Cassia Thompson. He will be deeply missed by his brother Robert Thompson, as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Deb, Karen, Don, and Deed. Ken was also a proud uncle to his nephews Wes, Marshall, Dan, and Steve.

Ken had a deep love for the outdoors and took great joy in working outside. He also had a fondness for visiting Casino Rama, where he enjoyed the excitement and camaraderie. He took pride in his career at Gravenhurst Plumbing, Heating & Electric, where he dedicated many years of service.

Ken’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
