Mr. Kenneth Joseph Holmes (Ken) Peacefully at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Kenneth Joseph Holmes in his 73rd year. Kenneth Joseph Holmes beloved husband of the late Joan Marie Holmes (nee Stothers) who predeceased Ken on January 15, 2009. Beloved father to Kathy (Bruce) Cruise of Kilworthy, Laurie (Rick) Pierre of Gravenhurst, Ron (Tammy) Holmes of Gravenhurst and Tammy (Darren) Schell of Kilworthy. Beloved brother to; Percy (Fern) Holmes of Kilworthy, Gerald (Nola) Holmes of Gravenhurst, Linda (Bob) Barnes of Gravenhurst, Doreen (Carl) Barnes of Gravenhurst and Pat (John) Thompson of Kilworthy. Much loved grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Thursday October 3, 2013 from 7-9 p. m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 10 a. m. Interment will follow at Kilworthy Lutheran Cemetery.
