BARNES, Kenneth Edward (Ken) Passed away peacefully at the Leisureworld Muskoka Transitions in Gravenhurst on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Ken was in his 83rd. year. Beloved husband to Clara Christie (nee Clement) of Gravenhurst. Ken was the beloved father to Nancy Whitmore, Angela Richardson and Linda Kettle. Beloved brother to Hazel Peacock, Elmer Barnes, Stan Barnes and Donnie Barnes. Ken was predeceased by his siblings; Pearl Barnes (Turner), Gladys Pallister, Jack Barnes and by an infant sister Evelyn Barnes. Beloved grandfather of six grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 11:00 a. m until time of service in the chapel at 1:00 p. m. Spring interment will take place at Mickle Memorial Cemetery, Gravenhurst. In memory of Ken, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
