Kellie Patricia Mae Frankish, a devoted school teacher who touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023, in Gravenhurst. She was born on August 22, 1968 in Mississauga, Ontario.
Kellie had an illustrious career as a school teacher, sharing her passion for education in various parts of the world. She taught in Lahore, Pakistan, Guangzhou, China, and the Simcoe Muskoka District in Ontario, Canada. Kellie's commitment to her students and her ability to inspire them will forever be remembered.
Outside of her professional life, Kellie was a woman with an abundance of love and kindness. Her daughter Zara was the center of her universe, and Kellie was extremely proud of her. She had a big heart and was adored by all who knew her. Kellie's faith in God was an integral part of her life and provided her with strength and guidance.
Kellie's warm personality made her dear to many hearts. She cherished her relationships with friends from church groups and had an immense love for her family. Her zest for life extended to various hobbies and interests which brought joy to her heart. Kellie loved traveling, reading books, dancing, going to the cottage, and she had a particular fondness for pickles.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Zara Jane Frankish; her mother Kim Ashby (Richard); her father Bill and stepmother Peg Frankish; siblings Marshall Luton (Rochelle) Matthew Luton (Sarah) Rebecca Taylor (Carlo); Charlotte Johnston (James) and Amy Frankish (Richard); nieces and nephews Poppy, Quinn, Sofie, Emmie, Rylie, Jase, and Willow. predeceased by Zoe.
The funeral services to honor Kellie's remarkable life will take place on December 21st at Cavill - Turner Funeral Home located at 215-1 Bay Street in Gravenhurst. The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. (4pm to 5pm will be open casket) The following day, December 22nd, a Funeral Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, situated at 191 Hotchkiss Street in Gravenhurst, starting at 10:00 AM.
Kellie Patricia Mae Frankish leaves behind an enduring legacy of compassion, dedication, and love. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
