Judy Florence Belaskie, beloved wife, sister, and friend, passed away on January 2, 2024, at Andy's House Hospice Muskoka in Port Carling, ON. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she peacefully transitioned into eternal rest. Judy was born on August 26, 1954, in Malartic, QC. Her kind and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Judy lived life to the fullest with a heart full of love and a zest for adventure. A fun-loving and generous individual, she brought joy to those around her with her infectious laughter and warm smile. Her good sense of humor has left lasting memories that will continue to bring smiles to the faces of family and friends.
One of Judy's greatest passions was collecting mushrooms. She had a keen eye for different varieties and took great pleasure in discovering their unique beauty. In addition to her fascinating hobby, Judy found solace in gardening and nurturing flowers. Her green thumb was evident in the vibrant blooms that adorned her backyard. Spending time outdoors was a true source of happiness for Judy, and she cherished every moment surrounded by nature's grandeur.
Judy's devotion to her family never wavered. She held a special place in her heart for each member of her extensive family. Judy was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Thomas and Rose Belaskie, as well as her beloved husband Robert Murray.
Judy is survived by her loving siblings Andrew, Lenard, Rose Belaskie, Robert, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.. The memory of their late siblings Rita Leck, Phyllis Belaskie, and Sally Cefreda will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
A visitation will be held on January 8th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cavill - Turner Funeral Home located at 215-1 Bay Street, Gravenhurst, ON, P1P 1H1. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 2:00 p.m. at the same location. All those who wish to pay their respects and celebrate Judy's life are welcome to attend.
Judy Florence Belaskie was a remarkable woman who left an indelible impression on every life she encountered. Her kind heart and vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her. As we bid farewell to Judy, let us remember her with love and hold onto the treasured memories she has left behind.
Rest in peace, dear Judy. May your soul find eternal serenity in the embrace of your loved ones who have gone before you.
