Joyce Cook

Joyce Elizabeth (Shortliffe) Cook  - Passed away on Friday, September 2 2022 at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late William Thomas “Bill” Cook (December 3 2015). Loving mother of David of Mississauga, Richard of Gravenhurst, Stephen of Toronto and Allan of New Hamburg. Predeceased by her son Sendel. Grammie of Russell Cook (Sarah) of Peterborough, Christopher Cook of Brampton, and  Olivia Cook of New Hamburg. Dear sister of Allan (Sherry) Shortliffe of Bedford, N.S. Great-Grammie to Kayley and Mackenzie Cook of Peterborough.

Visitation will be held one hour prior (10-11AM) to the funeral service which will be conducted at Marchmont Baptist Church, 3839 Townline, Severn on Friday, September 9th at 11AM. A luncheon will follow the service. Interment Mickle Memorial Cemetery, Gravenhurst.

Her humour, mischief, poems and jokes will be missed by all who knew her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord in heaven and reunited with family and her husband there.
