John Wier

With great sadness, we announce the death of John Campbell Wier, on Tuesday, June 5th, 2012, at the age of 57. John leaves behind his wife Mara, his mother Fran Wier and his brother Scott and his wife Candida Wier, along with their extended families. John will be remembered for his love of the sport of rock climbing, for his support for his friends in Hidalgo, Mexico and for working with the students at Gravenhurst High School. John's life will be Celebrated at the Gravenhurst Seniors Centre, 480 First St. N, in Gravenhurst on Saturday, July 7th, 2012 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m., with reflections presented by John's family and friends at 2:00 p.m. As your expression, of sympathy memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated to the O.S.P.C.A - Bracebridge Branch, P.O.
