Sockonowich, John Joseph Peacefully at Leisureworld Muskoka Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday August 29, 2012 in his 85th year. John Sockonowich is predeceased by his friend Mildred (Millie) Harbridge of Gravenhurst. Beloved father to John & his wife Christine Sockonowich of Kitchener. John is survived by his brothers; George, Bob, Phil and Raymond. John will be remembered by Don and Joan Ferrier of Belwood. In keeping with John's wishes, there will not be any services held. Cremation has taken place. In memory of John, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka, 230 Manitoba Street, Unite #205, Bracebridge, Ontario PIL 2E1 would be appreciated.
