SMITH, John Phillip "Jack" (Former Owner/Operator of New Ark Marina in Gravenhurst) Peacefully at his home in Gravenhurst, after a lengthy illness, on Friday, July 25th, 2014 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Shirley Evelyn Smith (nee Mooder). Loving father of Linda Birmingham of Gravenhurst. Much loved grandfather of Keiran Birmingham. Dear uncle of Gord Gray. Brother in law of numerous Mooder family members. Owner/operator of New Ark Marina from 1961 to 2002. A Celebration to honour Jack's life will be held at Grace & Speed, Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre, Muskoka Wharf, Gravenhurst on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 2:00 until 4:00 p. m.
