Jack  Melville Glendinning – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in his 89th year.  Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife Brenda A Glendinning (Boyd) in 2022 and their precious son John C "Johnie" (2014). However, their memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew them. He is survived by dear sister-in-law Nancy Boyd (late Larry) and loving nieces and nephews - Steve Boyd (Beth), Glen Boyd (Alison), Stephanie Boyd (Stephanie MacLellan), along with their children Jamie, Trystin, Brittany, and Makalya.

Jack led a fulfilling life that was defined by his dedication to his career and his unwavering dedication for his family. He pursued a successful career within Fortune 500 companies, leaving a lasting impact wherever he went until his well-deserved retirement.

Jack's thirst for knowledge led him to attain numerous accounting diplomas from Michigan State University and McMaster University, showcasing his commitment to excellence in all aspects of his life.

A man of integrity and honor, Jack cherished his family above all else. His endearing personality shone through in his values - "Family first" was not just a motto but a way of life for him. Jack took immense pride in his heritage, carrying on traditions with a sense of reverence.

Beyond the realm of work and family, Jack found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. A proud Beach Boy hailing from the beach area of Toronto, he found peace by the shores where he grew up and was educated. Summers spent at Kahshe Lake held a special place in his heart as it was there that he met the love of his life, Brenda.

In honoring the life of John "Jack" Melville Glendinning, the family will hold a private service to celebrate a man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom, and love. May his legacy continue to inspire us all to cherish our families and embrace our heritage with pride.

Rest peacefully, Jack. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
