John Benedict Fisher

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Reunited with the love of his life, Linda. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Rebecca (Ben) and Amanda (Adam). Forever proud of his three grandchildren Hudson, Addie, and Chloe. Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Zita Fisher. Brother to Maureen, Joe (Glenda), and Pat (Debbie). Remembered fondly by his sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

John was a dedicated Hydro One Worker for over 40 years and often had a story to tell of those days. He was also an avid sports fan who rarely missed a Buffalo Bills, Toronto Blue Jays or Kingston Frontenacs game.  He shared his love of sports with youth in his community by volunteering as a coach and league convenor for many years. In keeping with his wishes there will be no memorial service. Donations in his memory can be made to Jumpstart or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, especially Jacki and Madison, his nurses, for their care and support.
