Joan White

WHITE, C. Joan Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Monday, February 2, 2015 in her 79th year. Loving wife of Samuel White of Gravenhurst. Beloved mother of two sons who reside in South Africa and four step-sons and a step-daughter in Canada. She is survived by her brother Alan Acheson of Toronto. Predeceased by two other brothers. Joan was a quiet gentle woman who was loved and respected by all who knew her. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate Joan's life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations in her memory to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
