Jean Wray

Edith (Jean) Wray (nee Davies) 1929 ~ 2015 Jean passed away peacefully on February 19th after a short illness at Leisureworld in Gravenhurst. She was born and raised in Toronto where she attended St. Clement's School and later Nursing College. She moved to Gravenhurst in the mid 80's where she and her husband Bill enjoyed wooden boat rides and the small town environment. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bill (1989) and siblings;, Jessie Charlton, Marion Foskett and Arthur Davies. Jean was a loving Mother to Fraser (Jennifer), Graham (Kathy), and Mathew and grandmother to Christopher, Ashley, Amanda, David, Adam and Peter, and great grandmother to Blake. Jean was an avid reader and loved sharing her encyclopedic knowledge of British history. A Memorial Service will be held in Muskoka for family and friends in late spring or early summer. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
