Jean Ryan

Ryan, Jean Ann (nee Tunbridge) Died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Friday, April 11, 2014 in her 75th year. Jean Ryan was the loving wife of the late Edward Charles Ryan who predeceased her in 1995. Beloved mother of Charles (Cynthia) Ryan of Gravenhurst, Lynda (Brian) Smith of Severn Bridge, Paul Ryan and his partner Lisa Metherel of Orillia and Edward (Ann) Ryan of Sault Ste. Marie. Cherished grandmother to Trisha (Matt) Thurman, Stephanie, Michael and Danielle Ryan and Jamie and Crystal Ryan. Step-grandmother to William and Leah Sculthorp, Matthew, Brad and Todd Metherel. Mrs. Ryan is also survived by her brother Edward (Ted) Tunbridge. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Murdena Tunbridge and step-mother Bunty Tunbridge. Sister-in-law to Muriel Beattie and Beverly Ryan and the late Betty and Truman Wilcox, Alton Ryan, Frank Ryan, Norman Ryan and Martin Beattie. Jean leaves behind many loving, wonderful and kind nieces and nephews. Respecting Mrs. Ryan's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. In her memory donations may be made to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or the O.S.P.C.A local branch. Arrangements entrusted to the Cavill - Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst. Without you, we would have been lost. Heartfelt thanks also to Jannette and Goldie Harrison and Judy Penny for all that you did for our mom during her lifetime and especially during these last 15 months. We know that you were very special friends and that she loved you as we do. Also, a special thank you to Closing the Gap, you were wonderful in tending to our mother's needs and most appreciated, especially to Cassandra who our mom had a special and wonderful connection with.
