Jean Barnes

Jean Elizabeth Barnes (nee Schell) Passed away peacefully at the Leisureworld Muskoka Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in her 91st. year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Barnes who predeceased Jean on January 13, 2012. Beloved mother to Beverley (Guy) Allard of Gravenhurst, Yvonne (Clarence) Armstrong of Gravenhurst, Wayne Barnes (Nancy Bartlett) of Kenabeek and Debbie (Charlie) Barnes-Matts also of Gravenhurst. Jean was predeceased by all of her siblings; May Kernohan of Minden, Andrew, Raymond and Alex Schell. Beloved grandmother to 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, Gravenhurst on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p. m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 11:00 a. m. Spring Interment will take place at Mickle Memorial Cemetery.
