J.B. (Bruce) Jennings of Kennebeck Island, Georgian Bay June 17, 1940 - January 22, 2015. Predeceased by his parents Walter Bruce and Margaret Elizabeth Jennings. Brother of Jill James (Tom). JB (Bruce) graduated from McMaster University and taught for many years at John G. Althouse P.S. in Etobicoke. In his younger years he also spent many summers working at several Honey Harbour marinas. After taking early retirement JB enjoyed the pleasure of living on Kennebeck Island on Georgian Bay for six months of the year and spending the winters in Bracebridge, Ontario. Life on the island will never be the same without him in residence at the family cottage. Despite lifelong visual difficulties he crafted a variety of unique objects made of red cedar and other wood from the island which he gifted to many family and friends.
