Janette "Marion" Sander

Passed away at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, in her 88th year. Marion was the beloved wife of Carl Sander for 69 years. Loving mother of Wayne (Sue), Les (predeceased), Susan McAughey (Frank), Bob, and Ray (Kim). Cherished grandmother of Sara, Jordan (predeceased), Lisa, Gavin, Jaden, Ireland, Laken, and Sully. Survived by her brother Bob Bobbette.

Marion was born in Innisfil, one of ten children to John and Velma Bobbette. She was a wonderfully caring and devoted wife and mother who always put her family first. Marion was very sociable and enjoyed welcoming all into her home. She spent many years volunteering in her community and enjoyed spending winters in Florida with Carl and Les. Marion was always available to lend an ear to help others though difficult times and displayed admirable strength and positivity through her own life challenges. Marion was very loved and will be sadly missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be held at Mickle Memorial Cemetery on Monday, July 17 at 1:00 pm.
