James Passmore

Born in Gravenhurst, passed away peacefully in the Montfort Hospital, Ottawa, on April 7, 2025.

Loving husband of Aileen (nee O’BRIEN) for 74 years. Loving father of three children, Grandfather to seven, Great Grandfather to thirteen.

James was a former employee of Campbell Soup, Toronto for 38 years.

Longtime resident of Mimico, Etobicoke and returned to his hometown of Gravenhurst in 1989 for 33 fun-filled years on Gull Lake. He then moved to the Manotick, Ontario, from 2021-2025.

A visitation will take place at Cavill Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, as well as Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service will follow at Cavill Funeral Home at 1:30 PM.
