James Mcdivitt

James (Jim) William McDivitt, age 65, of Bala, died peacefully, with family at his bedside, at the Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia, on Friday, August 05, 2016. Jim was 11 years retired from the Township of Muskoka Lakes, where he was CAO and Treasurer. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur, and survived by his mother, Barbara. He was the irreplaceable friend, mentor, and loving father of Derek (Alicia) and Hayley (Geoff Parent), and proud grandfather of Jack and Olive. He was the youngest brother to siblings Keith, Gary, and Jane, and is dearly loved and remembered by Cathy Sinclair. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bala Community Centre - Bala, Ontario, on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to support the Royal Canadian Legion - Bala, Branch 424, would be appreciated by the family.
