James Clipsham

CLIPSHAM, James Edwin Veteran of WWII, Life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 302 and owner and operator of J. E. Clipsham and Sons Hardware Store in Gravenhurst. Died peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 25, 2013 in his 92nd year. James Edwin Clipsham, beloved husband of Margaret Catherine Clipsham (nee Flynn) of Gravenhurst. Beloved father of Kathleen Brock (Clipsham) of Gravenhurst. Cherished grandfather of David Brock and his wife Amy Groothuis of Yellowknife, N.W.T., and Joseph Brock (Gaby) of Ecuador. Great grandfather of Laurel and Willem. Pre-deceased by his sister Esther Forrest of Toronto. Survived by his nieces Ann, Wendy and Diane Forrest and the late Sue Forrest. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29th, 2013 at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service to celebrate the life of James Edwin Clipsham at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka.
